NOTE 11 / OWN

Test Livan X3 Pro Electronics for the Destination

Infotainment and convenience equipment vary by trim and market. Test the installed screen, language options, phone connection, radio bands, camera, sensors, keys and charging ports on the actual vehicle. Do not promise Android Auto, CarPlay or over-the-air functions without visible proof.

The purpose of this worksheet is to turn a broad model-name search into a decision that can be checked, quoted and handed over without silently changing assumptions.

01

Inventory the hardware

Photograph the head unit, menus, USB ports, camera image, sensors, instrument display and keys. Record part or software information where accessible and distinguish original equipment from an aftermarket replacement.

Record: Save the source, capture date and VIN reference beside this finding so another candidate cannot inherit it by mistake.

02

Test phone connectivity

Pair a phone, place an audio call where appropriate, play media and test the advertised mirroring method. A Bluetooth connection does not prove wired or wireless smartphone projection standards.

Record: Enter the verified value and the evidence owner. If the seller supplied the answer, label it seller-stated until independently checked.

03

Check language and radio

Confirm menu languages, navigation region if fitted, time and unit settings, radio tuning and any online dependency. Destination compatibility should be demonstrated, not inferred from an English menu screenshot.

Record: Record what was inspected, what remained inaccessible and who performed the check; silence is an open item, not a pass.

04

Verify camera and sensors

Inspect image clarity, dynamic guidelines if fitted, sensor response and warning display. Repair history at the tailgate or bumper can affect these functions, so combine operation tests with physical inspection.

Record: Note every destination assumption behind this conclusion and reopen it when the port, buyer country or registration route changes.

05

Preserve access

Count physical and remote keys, test locking, starting and battery condition, and record any PIN or account dependency that can legally be transferred. Do not accept a promise that a missing key can always be programmed locally.

Record: Attach the supporting photograph, report page or document reference and preserve the original language where translation could alter meaning.

06

Price limitations openly

If a regional service, app or projection feature cannot be confirmed, list it as unresolved or unavailable. The buyer can then decide whether a compatible aftermarket unit is acceptable and include it in the budget.

Record: State the commercial consequence: accept, reject, reprice or request more evidence, together with the person responsible and deadline.

Close the note with a decision record

Write the selected candidate, rejected alternatives, evidence reviewed, unresolved questions, responsible person and next deadline. If another vehicle replaces the candidate, reopen identity, inspection, cost and destination checks. A copied conclusion is not valid for a different VIN.

Questions buyers should still ask

Inventory the hardware: what should the buyer retain?

Retain the dated document, image or test result that closes “Inventory the hardware”, together with the VIN and the name of the person who supplied or checked it. A listing label alone is not sufficient evidence.

Test phone connectivity: what should the buyer retain?

For “Test phone connectivity”, write down what is verified and what remains an assumption. An open point may be acceptable, but it must stay visible in the price, inspection scope or handover conditions.

Check language and radio: what should the buyer retain?

Recheck “Check language and radio” if the vehicle, destination, route or responsible supplier changes. Conclusions belong to the candidate and dated evidence set; they should not be copied to a replacement VIN.
