Evidence before reputation
Model-level information helps frame questions, but it cannot establish the condition, equipment or legality of a specific vehicle. Work begins with the VIN, manufacturer plate, registration evidence and source date. New-car specification verification and used-car condition inspection remain separate tasks.
Brand spelling deserves particular care. Livan, the transliteration Ruilan and the Chinese characters 睿蓝 may appear in different commercial records. The buyer file retains the original language and reconciles it with the legal manufacturer and model data instead of translating every record into one convenient name.
A quotation needs boundaries
Vehicle value, preparation, inland movement, freight, tax and destination work are recorded as distinct lines. Availability, price and sailing schedules are dated rather than presented as permanent promises. A replacement VIN receives a fresh review.
The destination broker remains the appropriate source for customs, tax and registration conclusions. China-side checks can assemble evidence and flag questions, but they cannot guarantee that a foreign authority will accept a document, emissions classification or vehicle modification.
Inspection has a defined scope
An inspection records what was accessible, tested, observed and not tested at a stated time. It does not create a warranty or prove future reliability. Structural checks, paint, underbody, engine, transmission, tyres, brakes, diagnostics and fitted equipment are considered separately so a clean photograph cannot conceal an unresolved technical item.
Commercial responsibility
The contracting entity, exporter, beneficiary, inspector and shipping parties should be identified before commitment. Buyers should independently verify payment instructions and use licensed destination advisers for customs, tax and registration conclusions.
A practical handover includes the agreed identity file, inspection report, preparation record, invoice, export and shipping documents, service references and unresolved notes. The same evidence should reach the buyer and destination adviser without changing the vehicle description halfway through the route.
